When I first recorded this song, I was working next to a large k-highschool building and reached out to the band instructor to ask about recruiting the high-school marching band to help us record a music video to this song. To me, having horns and a marching band come in near the end while singing the song while moving through them, felt like a worthy goal. Alas, after several meetings, some preliminary setup, we were not able to manifest it. Though to me, after I hear the whistle near the last chorus, I hear the marching band swell and clash and smash and blast their way through that last section. Maybe, after reading this, you will hear them too.

Dying Slowly (ISRC: QMFUX1400008)
I’ve been waiting for a while now
I’ve been pleading with the face in the clouds
Loosing sleep over the vast temptation
Locked inside every pair of her eyes
And I’m dying slowly making up my noise
And i’m dying slowly loosing all my poise
This ain’t some game between just another girl and boy
Its life or death dear, love or hereafter fear
Fear that you were probably the only one
But now I’m getting old
Holding onto hope
That I won’t die alone
That you won’t die alone with love
i’m dying slowly making up my noise
Now i’m dying slowly loosing all my poise
This ain’t some game between just another girl and boy
Its life or death dear, love or hereafter fear
Fear that you were probably the only one x3
